Maybe….
Maybe…

Maybe… will we be meeting again this winter?
Maybe… will we be sitting around and laugh once again when it comes to the spring?

Yiruma sends a warm message for getting through to the most challenging year ever.

The breathtakingly beautiful melodies, composed by a 23-year-old young man twenty years ago, are still remembered and stayed in people’s hearts.

As a composer and a pianist, Yiruma comes to us with each new song every month. Then, finally, the full album will be released, celebrating his debut’s 20th year. The very best pieces of Yiruma are newly arranged and will be open every month. The journey starts with a new single album, “Maybe Christmas” – recently rearranged based on his very first song, “May Be” – is out at noon today (December 11).

“Maybe Christmas” keeps its original song’s refreshing and mysterious melody. “May Be” is written initially as a solo piano piece. However, the new music has a richer sound with orchestrations, using more space rather than syncopation. The mastering is also done by Simon Gibson, who worked with Paul McCartney, The Beatles, Hans Zimmer, and many more.

“Maybe Christmas” is Yiruma’s very first tune with an orchestra and of the 20th-anniversary project. This single album gives us the message of consolations to us in these challenging times and allows us to look around and thank the people around – whether you are in the distance or not. It will keep us warm, especially at these times of the end of the year.

Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 | Daniel Barenboim & the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra (complete symphony)

Piano for beginners No Comments »

The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim performs Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony at the Berlin Philharmonic. It’s supported by singers Angela Denoke, Waltraud Meier, Burkhard Fritz and René Pape. The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra is a very special ensemble: It is made up of young Israeli and Arab musicians and is campaigning for a peaceful solution to the Middle East conflict. The West-Eastern Divan Orchestra, which was founded in 1999, gives concerts all over the world. Proceeds from the concert in Berlin went to the Barenboim-Said Academy, which supports musical education programs.

The 9th Symphony in D minor op. 125 is the last finished symphony by the composer Ludwig van Beethoven. The work was premiered in Vienna on May 7, 1824 in the presence of Beethoven, who was already completely deaf and was a complete success. The fourth movement is also known as “Ode to Joy” and is one of the most popular songs in the world. Since 1985, the main theme of the
last movement has been the official European anthem.
