All Of Me Piano chords and lyrics:

1:02 INTRO: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x2)

2:53 VERSE: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x4)
What would I do without your smart mouth?
Drawin’ me in and you kickin’ me out
You got my head spinnin’, no kiddin’
I can’t pin you down
What’s goin’ on in that beautiful mind?
I’m on your magical mystery ride
And I’m so dizzy, don’t know what hit me
But I’ll be alright

5:15 PRE-CHORUS: Bbm | Bbm | Ab | Eb (x2)
My head’s under water, but I’m breathing fine
You’re crazy and I’m out of my mind

6:47 CHORUS: Ab | Fm | Bbm | Eb (x2)
‘Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I’ll give my all to you
You’re my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I’m winning

8:57 POST-CHORUS: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x2)
‘Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

12:29 VERSE 2: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x4)
How many times do I have to tell you?
Even when you’re crying, you’re beautiful too
The world is beating you down, I’m around
Through every mood
You’re my downfall, you’re my muse
My worst distraction, my rhythm and blues
I can’t stop singing, it’s ringing
In my head for you

PRE-CHORUS: Bbm | Bbm | Ab | Eb (x2)
My head’s under water, but I’m breathing fine
You’re crazy and I’m out of my mind

CHORUS: Ab | Fm | Bbm | Eb (x2)
‘Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I’ll give my all to you
You’re my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I’m winning

POST-CHORUS: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x2)
‘Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

12:48 MID-8/BRIDGE: Bbm | Bbm | Ab | Eb (x2)
Give me all of you, oh
Cards on the table, we’re both showing hearts
Risking it all, though it’s hard

13:37 CHORUS: Ab | Fm | Bbm | Eb (x2)
‘Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I’ll give my all to you
You’re my end and my beginning
Even when I lose, I’m winning

POST-CHORUS: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x2)
‘Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you

14:22 OUTRO: Fm | Db | Ab | Eb (x2)
I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh-oh

Learn Hao To Play the Piano in 10 Minutes | Jeff Hao | TEDxYouth@HKIS

At age of 40, Jeff, the oil company executive, tried to learn to play a small song on the Casio keyboard that he bought for his children. He quickly went on to play many original works of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Elton John, Billy Joe, John Lennon, and Jay Chou … all because he built a notation system that anyone can read immediately. The patented Hao Staff (named after him and referenced against the traditional Grand Staff music notation) is now already used by thousands of people.

Learn to Play Bach's Prelude in C Major: Beginner Piano Lesson Video

Learn jazz piano No Comments »

NOTE: This video teaches the Gounod version of Bach’s Prelude. Basically, there’s a bar around 2:40 that “doesn’t fit”, but appears in the Gounod version. Read more about it here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ave_Maria_%28Bach/Gounod%29

In this video you will learn to play Bach’s Prelude in C Major, from his Well Tempered Clavier. The piece will be performed, with full notes & fingering shown in screen. Then, I’ll discuss some of the points you should watch out for while practicing. Bach’s Prelude is a great piece for late beginner / early intermediate piano players, because:

1. It sounds sophisticated and mature, and:

2. It’s easy to learn to play, relatively speaking. This is because of its fairly repetitive nature: the bars all follow a very repetitive structure, so you really only have to learn a single pattern and then just change the notes from bar to bar (except for the last couple of bars).

Bach’s Prelude in C major is one of the 24 pieces in his Well Tempered Clavier. From Wikipedia:

“The Well-Tempered Clavier (German: Das Wohltemperierte Klavier),[1] BWV 846–893, is a collection of solo keyboard music composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. He gave the title to a book of preludes and fugues in all 24 major and minor keys, dated 1722, composed “for the profit and use of musical youth desirous of learning, and especially for the pastime of those already skilled in this study.” Bach later compiled a second book of the same kind, dated 1742, with the title “Twenty-four Preludes and Fugues.” The two works are now considered to make up a single work, The Well-Tempered Clavier, or “the 48,” and are referred to as The Well-Tempered Clavier Book I and The Well-Tempered Clavier Book II respectively.[2] The Well-Tempered Clavier and Twenty-four Preludes and Fugues are generally regarded as being among the most influential works in the history of Western classical music”

You can read more about it on the Wikipedia website:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Well-Tempered_Clavier

My Youtube channel has many other interesting lessons:

Learn how to play Pat Metheny’s letter from home:

Learn how to read sheet music (for beginners):

Play twice as fast with delays:

Learn how to develop your piano technique. This one is good for beginners and intermediate players alike:

Additional interesting links:

Here is a link to the sheet music of this prelude in PDF format. However, you will have to know how to read notes:
http://www.gmajormusictheory.org/Freebies/Classics/WTCPrelu.pdf
Bach’s prelude is a really great piece to learn is you are a beginning/intermediate pianist, since it’s (1) repetitive and not very complicated technique-wise, and (2) sounds very sophisticated (well, it’s Bach, so it really IS sophisticated!).

For those of you who are interested, the “chords” played are also spelled out on the screen (technically, Bach’s music is not based on “chords” so this is just a simple guideline provided by myself).

Enjoy!

Learn how to play a very easy boogie woogie on piano keyboard

Learn jazz piano No Comments »

If you love boogie woogie and want to start playing it, this is probably the easiest starting point you’re going to get. This is actually ‘Boogie No. 1’ from a great book – ‘The Joy of Boogie and Blues’. You can grab a copy on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/shop/escapetheboxpiano (or Amazon UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/shop/escapetheboxpiano)

Even very easy boogie woogie has got some complexity to it so if you’re a complete beginner on piano or keyboard, it might be a good idea to put in the hours on some other exercises and music to get your chops up.

NB you can listen to a play-through at 11:48 on this video.
